Hillfinch wins for the syndicate that is 3 wins for her now.
Great day at Huntingdon on the 28th March in a 3m 1f Racing TV Mares Handicap Hurdle, Ciaran Gethings took the ride in a thrilling ding dong battle where sheer guts off of 12st got her home, Hillfinch has proved to be a good fun horse that races plenty and bar a little blip when under the weather before Christmas is usually there or thereabouts. She will line up at Southwell in a 0-110 Handicap Hurdle 3m tomorrow (12th April) 12 are declared and in what looks like a hotter race, she is still potentially unexposed at this trip.
Good luck to her owners.

Shiyrvann ran a good second at a big price at Southwell for the colours (6th March) this Kingman gelding has come on heaps with his jumping, can travel and we had a reason why he disappointed last time at Market Rasen when short price favourite, he is now on his summer holidays and I think he'll be one to follow next season.
Boxing Day Bumper winner Billy Boi Blue is put away for a Novice Hurdling campaign next autumn, he remains a very exciting prospect and one to look forward too.
Annie Day who unfortunately got colic Christmas eve is looking fantastic in herself, she now is back in Norfolk for her summer holidays, It is great to have the horses summer locally to me with an owner & friends of the syndicate. The horses may benefit further with a complete change of scenery before returning to training in July. Annie gave us all a great day winning at Fontwell in November on what was a bumper crowd on Southern National Day.
Noel Williams will be training an exciting 4 yo filly for the colours this autumn, This an unnamed daughter by Champs Elysees.
The pedigree on the dam side is really exciting too with a half brother rated 154 and competed at the Cheltenham Festival twice (5th in the stayers and may well have won the supreme but ran out 2 from home) Noel is a really good trainer and BDR are really looking forward to teaming up with him for the new season.
It may well be Hillfinch is our last runner of the season we shall have no summer runners this year, the fun will not stop as owners will be over to see their horses summer which usually ends up down the pub after, we may well get a pointer in the May sale too then before you know it the horses go back into training mid summer and we have some super open days at the yards and we are off again.
The syndicate has made a team for an Ian Botham Golf day in Oswestry, so really looking forward to that, sure to be a good day and can't wait to see Beefy..... a massive sportsman I loved watching him as a boy, naturally I shall try to sell him a share.
It has been a year of thrills and spills in the syndicate and although not everyday was a good one they'll be forgotten but the winners and the good times will be dined on for years, owners that become friends, horses that make legends.
Enjoy the Aintree meeting.
