Exciting Day for Baby Ben owners tomorrow (2nd of December) at Market Rasen in the MansionBet Novice Hurdle at 1:22 in this 2 mile 4f contest. 14 runners are declared in a decent enough contest. Gold Cup Winning Jockey Paddy Brennan takes the ride.

These types of races are difficult to judge as has so many variables, Ben has never jumped a hurdle in public or under race conditions, with many other unknowns in the race our aim is for a positive run, something to build on for the next day and most importantly safe home.

Baby Ben was purchased for sensible money as a unbroken 3 year old store from Ireland 2 and a half years ago.

BDR filled the syndicate up in Ben in a matter of hours. Lets hope the loyal and enthusiastic band of owners that form this partnership are rewarded both tomorrow and furthermore in Ben's career.

Looking forward to attending and meeting up with some of the team tomorrow at this Lincolnshire track.

Looks like it will be a busy week or so for many of the BDR owners, HILLFINCH is entered on Sunday the 5th on Peterborough Chase Day at Huntingdon in a Listed Mares Race. This winning Filly could be really smart.

After Sunday we will aim at Novice Hurdles and we like Timeform really like HILLFINCH and think she will be winning soon. I have a slither still to syndicate in her so please don't be shy and come join the party.

Ajay's Ways we hope to see also next week in what will be his last hurdle race in all probability, AJ will hold entries at Fontwell on the 7th and Hexham the 8th. Chasing awaits for this big lad by Stowaway.

Josie Abbing ran another great race to come second last week at Hereford, Lilly Pinchin gets on well with her and I am sure they will team up again next spring for further success. Josie will now have a winter break. Much deserved after 2 Wins 3 Seconds and a 4th at Ascot on a Saturday nonetheless.

Thanks for reading.
