                                                Baby Ben at O'Brien/McPherson Racing

There has been loads of action since Josie Abbing won for us on the 5th September & Calum Gilhooley on the 16th August, Graeme McPherson Racing has merged with Fergal O'Brien Racing which although came as a shock its plain for everyone to see how good a trainer Fergal is. Good luck to them both.

We hold 2 entries for Josie Abbing at Hereford Tuesday in a Mares Handicap and another in a Handicap Hurdle, She likely will go for the former, Lilly Pinchin I hope will ride her again. The other entry on the same day different meeting is Stuart Edmunds trained Miss McGugen in a Mares Maiden Hurdle at Huntingdon. Stuart and his team enjoyed a great night winning the best trainer for smaller yards award at The McCoys last night (7th Oct) well done to them all.

BDR owners enjoyed a super morning last Saturday at the Newport Pagnell yard of Stuart Edmunds. We watched on the gallops Miss McGugen work with some nice horses. Our mare did it very easily and lets hope she goes well next Tuesday at Huntingdon.

Josie going for a hat trick of wins will have the ground she enjoys at Hereford and as long as no one tells her its not Fontwell I think she will have a shout, Josie is 11lb higher than her first win this year.

Miss McGugen we think will enjoy the step back in trip to the 3 miles she would have had in points in Ireland. Fingers crossed she goes well, she is up against some nice mares.

There are a couple of 10% shares available and 2 x 1% lease shares for a one off fee of just £359 for a season. I have made available one 10% share in 10 x 1% lease shares that are in the Racing Club, although not as full on as a standard share the club can ballot badges and share information with the aim to get as many people involved as possible. Contact me if of interest.

Baby Ben is doing well at Martins Hill and is cantering away nicely. Ajay's Ways is ahead of him and I hope will not be far away from a run. Our 2 un raced 4 yr olds are well but are at slightly different stages of development. Both nice types, Billy Boi Blue more a galloper and Doc El a speedier sort.

Lovely to see Caroline Bailey's horses going well and in the winners enclosure, she is represented this weekend at the season opener with Cobra De Mai at Chepstow, Stuart Edmunds also with Rowland Ward. Good luck to them both.

I hope to attend Huntingdon on Tuesday so if you are there come over and say hello. You can not miss me as I will be sporting a BDR jacket, on that note we will be selling some branded clothing soon on our website.

Enjoy the weekend and thanks for reading
