Ascot today for Josie Abbing- Miss McGugen tomorrow at Huntingdon

Busy weekend for BDR owners. Dual summer winner Josie Abbing heads to Ascot in a 2m 3 1/2f Conditional Jockeys Handicap. Lilly Pinchin knows her well and although a tough ask for the BDR mare on ground to soft to be ideal for her.  That said Josie is as fit as she can be and in the form of her life and has bits of form on soft ground in Ireland and Newbury so we go with a punchers chance. Good Luck Josie & Lilly

Miss McGugen (pictured above) goes to Huntington on Sunday 31st. This is a Mares Novice and is a proper hot race, horses from some big yards that were sold for eye watering money. We need a recovery mission for Miss M' she cut her hoof when going well the last day at the same track, so if we can run to the line and get on a upward curve that will do well. Chasing awaits for her best days I feel. Ciaran Gethings rides. Safe home to them both.

Ajay's Ways holds a entry at Chepstow next week he is well, Baby Ben could go to Uttoxeter on the 11th November.

Thanks for reading have a good weekend.

Colin
