Calum Gilhooley wins again for BDR

Fantastic evening at Bangor where those owners attending and the supporters who couldn't watch  track-side  saw Calum hold on with probably a little in hand for his 5th* career victory, if this lad doesn't win he usually makes the frame. great horse, another winning ride for our co. Meath Jockey Kielan Woods.

Superb effort by all at the yard with Calum. Thank you

We have a open morning with Caroline Bailey coming really soon, lovely yard this,  Caroline reports Annie really well she has been schooling over show jumping fences. and loves it. I am sure Annie will score this term. nice mare.

Last week Stewart Dudwell and I entertained some new friends of BDR, hopefullly they will be joining us in the future they seemed really keen , We have been gaining several new faces which is great for us as a group. Owning horses isn't a cheap hobby some owners come up with some great ideas to make it more affordable.

Called in before Stratford races to see Graeme , all grand there....

Doc El by Fracas looked really good coming up the hill...so to another unraced 4 yr old Billy Boi Blue he was named after the son of a great supporter of BDR and old school friend.

Ajays Ways has strengthened up, he is a big horse, he would be my 'one to follow' from our team for the season ahead. I like him he just got a bit weaker through the season last year. He has summered extremely well with owner Fleur Hawes.

Baby Ben he is grand ready to get on with things and canter, Our new 3 yr old unnamed filly is fine she has been turned out and will start to canter again in the autumn.

Josie Abbing will be our next runner, she had a mini break and will be a possible runner at Fontwell in a conditional race. she has won and come a just beaten 2nd there (pulled clear by 12 lengths to the 3rd)

Thanks for reading.

Josie Abbing winning for BDR this summer, a repeat performance at course & Distance?
