Calum placed-good run

Calum Gilhholey 4th last week at Warwick

Smashing afternoon had at Warwick, although we couldn't get 3/3 wins with Calum Gilhooley he came a gallant 4th just headed on the line for 3rd, beaten 3 3/4 lengths, considering our lad hit 2nd 5th and 8th flight showing some novicey mistakes he did well, without doubt he has talent a engine and a decent future. Timeform noted that the experience wouldn't be wasted on him and he is one to keep a eye on. I said in my last blog I'd be delighted with a place and worried about his jumping, both proved so. I think he will be winning soon. Great group of owners.

Annie Day takes the baton tomorrow Thursday at Ffos Las Annie trained by Christian Williams makes her rules debut in a maiden bumper, with her allowance and Jack Tudors claim she will carry just 10st. The ground seems sure to be testing and as we are in the lucky last the track will be chewed up also.

With no collateral form to go on its a complete guessing game, Annie has won a point in Eire (3m Heavy) so based on that she should handle the ground but I think she'll be a better mare not in a bog, the first run is the most important so lets hope she runs with promise comes home sound and we can look forward to her going over timber in the not to distant future.

Our next runner possibly after Annie Day will be Roseriver Has at Newton Abbot this looks a tough race at this stage so lets see after final declarations. We plan to go for sure all being well. I think Roseriver will be a real fun horse going forward.

Josie Abbing is coming to hand and is happier with life, she had a issue that seems to be behind her, she will be ready for a entry possibly be next week. Ajay's Ways continues to edge closer to a run as does Baby Ben and then we will have the BDR SIX all out racing, seems fitting with current rule of that we all adhere to.

Thanks for reading, best of luck all-
