Calum Gilhooley on a Hat-trick Thursday.

Calum Gilhooley after his last Newton abbot win

Calum Gilhooley lines up on Thursday 1st October Warwick in the 2 mile 5f 0-125 handicap hurdle. 15 are declared.

Looking at the opponents I feel this is a tough ask, seasoned handicappers now as before we were in smallish field novices, with 15 runners the pace will be quick and Calums jumping will be put to the crunch, that said he deserves to take his chance and it will be a acid test.

Our horse is proven left handed, will like the flat track and I would be delighted if he got a place, although 100% I shall be dreaming of the win. 3/3 would be a fairy tale, credit must go to Graeme's vet who basically bolted a part of his leg together this time last year! We were told he'd be grand so well done there!

Kielan Woods rides and Warwick race course must be commended for their helpfulness in allowing a few extra badges and generally just being nice on the phone! costs nothing helps a lot. Look forward to going.

Roseriver Has last week jumped well maybe just took a blow before running on again at the end, we are really positive with him, everyone loves a grey! Jack Tudor rode last week also as the historic Warwick track.

Few more things- Baby Ben takes his work well and is pleasing them at the yard, 4 yr olds can crumble however at the minute Baby Ben is doing really well and will be out end of October early November, same also for our pointer Ajay's Ways as in running plans, he had to have a year off but so far so good, love this lad he is a big boy will need proper winter ground and is by Stowaway.

Our three year olds are being broken in and all is well with them, one by Fracas and another by Blue Bresil, more on them when i get some pictures, very early days.

thanks for reading and good luck all.
