Calum Gilhooley makes hurdle debut.

Calum Gilhooley lines up today at Southwell in the 6:30 Maiden hurdle. He has been off 18 months so I would imagine the experience would not be wasted on him today.

Calum goes to do his best but although he has done plenty at home there is nothing like match practice.

Good news on all Graeme’s BDR horses. Ajay’s Ways returning from a minor leg is cantering and doing 2 nice pieces each day, Baby Ben likewise, can’t wait to see the horses and many friends on the 15th August for BDR open morning, Graeme makes us all so welcome. Great to be involved with him and his team.

All grand at Christian Williams yard, Annie Day continues to impress and will go likely for a bumper early September, Roseriver Has is closer than that to a run and we had some lovely video footage of him schooling this week.

Have had lots of enquiries and new owners so that’s positive as the team grows for the season.

Have a few options for our new horse ‘Doc El’ so plans gathering pace.

Thanks for reading. Enjoying a lovely week in North Norfolk caught lots of Mackerel weather has been fantastic.
