Annie Day is in my ears and in my eyes

Annie Day powered home in style winning for the BDR syndicate, Jack Quinlan and new trainer (for us) Ben Case.

What a great afternoon the syndicate had with this gutsy mare, Annie who had been to Sedgefield just 10 days earlier but hadn't run due to an abandonment, however her day came in this 2m 3f 0-100 Mares Handicap Vickers Bet independent bookmakers contest.

This was the first runner for the BDR syndicate with Ben Case and Jack Quinlan took the winning ride, Annie Day has come out her race well and looks like she will be a warm order favourite to go in again for her owners. (a share remains on lease for the season get in touch)

Annie had a year off due to a tiny hole in her tendon whilst with recently retired Caroline Bailey but that may have been a blessing in disguise and has given Annie the chance to have a break. Caroline had started Annie Day off this season and then Ben took her in August.

Thanks to Fleur Hawes who over-summered Annie, BDR ambassador Caroline Bailey who had Annie over a year and oversaw her recovery, Caroline started our mare off in July with loads of roadwork and trotting. and huge thanks to Ben Case and his staff for getting Annie in such great shape to win. Great day with owners who have become super friends.

Hillfinch ran a nice race at Fakenham in their feature to come third and earn some nice prize money for her owners. Was a super day at the Norfolk track The Fakenham Race Club who I have been helping on behalf of David Hunter had another winner, again for the inform Ben Case. That is 2 winners for them this season, well done to the club members they stand at nearly 100 in total. What a lovely community track Fakenham is. The track will have a 100k prize money meeting New Years Day, have a new facility in a log cabin and bar opening I believe on the 18th December, A track on the up.

Fakenham Race Club Members another winner!

Billy Boi Blue will be out again soon, we can't get carried away and its one race at a time but we will keep him for education and complete all four bumper runs then see if he is good enough for a championship race at Aintree, that would be on Grand National Day so would be amazing to be on the card.

                                                                                             Annie Days Owners

Miss Mcgugen is coming along well so to is Shiyrvann who has has a tie forward and had started cantering away, not such good news Baby Ben has a leg injury and Tickity Amber will not run again as she has a collapse of her wind at race pace, blow for us, Ben will be assessed further, Tickity is sound and has already started her training for a new career, Racing is a very hard game. If it was easy everyone would do it.

Been plenty of miles for everyone supporting the owners and their horses, Caroline and Gerald Bailey travelled to Bangor on Dee and Sedgefield, I was there for Fontwell, We have a morning at Ben Case's soon, if interested give me a call 07780 607976.

Massive Thanks to our supporters, some have more luck than others for sure but we keep together and new members are joining the party.... led by Caroline Bailey BDR syndicates flag carrying Ambassador
