Josie Abbing Winner
Great evening at Fontwell last night where BDR syndicates mare won the 16 runner 0-100 handicap hurdle, under a super patient ride from Tom Bellamy who held Josie right up at the back and picked them off one by one to take it up 2 out and go on to victory.
Huge congratulations to the owners, Mcpherson racing and Tom Bellamy- thank you all, richly deserved.
Cold wind there last night and a long drive home, I am unsure how the travelling head lad Isaac does it he was at Ayr the day before where the yard had yet another winner and a second also. We all like Isaac very much a great asset to a super team at Graeme McPherson's.
That takes us nicely to Sunday at Ludlow where ground permitting 3 x winner Calum Gilhooley represents the colours.
Maybe we should stop now as we are 100% for the season, a great boost as Josie hasn't had a smooth passage to her second win under rules. Delighted for all her owners and some attended and we had a great evening. A up and coming syndicate with proven success, come join the team.... BDR is most certainly the friendly syndicate.
Well done Josie. A small horse with a big heart.
