Bumper winner Calum Gilhooley schooled and news on Southwell bound Josie Abbing

Calum Gilhooley (above) schooling today at the Graeme McPherson yard.

Nice to see Calum Gilhooley doing well on the 3 furlong all weather schooling ground, hopefully next month he will be ready to rock n roll and make his hurdle debut. The owners will be getting a full update on Ajay's Ways, Calum Gilhooley and our soon to be named 4 yr old by Ask.

Josie Abbing received no ballot number (Southwell 19th July 0-110 mares only)so she is sure to run the race may divide but preference is given to the 5.20, so if that doesn't divide Josie Abbings race may. It will be interesting to hear Christians thoughts to our owners on their mare, off 98 now I would be hopeful she could be competitive and be in the mix, we are told she doesn't have a high cruising speed so 2 mile on good ground may take her off her feet however we absolutely go to do our best.

Lets hope the BHA can ease restrictions on owners attending race days in both how many can attended currently (2 owners) and why once there they can only stay for a 90 mins seems ridiculous I mean its a open air racetrack surely owners can be accommodated can stay safely apart for the duration of the meet.

I am sure it will be addressed soon. We devour the books for our new 3 yr old store Doc El more on him really soon, a lovely story and a even better man, lets hope the horse can be half as good and we will have a cracker.
